Energy Performance Certificate
As a landlord,
Energy Performance Certificates are soon going to become an important part of your life. From 1 October 2008, it will be a
legal requirement to give a copy of an EPC to anyone taking up a new tenancy of a property. The landlord is responsible for
ensuring this is done. Unless significant changes are made to the property the EPC will be valid for 10 years.
We guarantee the quality and accuracy of our EPCs and are fully insured
and indemnified. We will carry out all EPC assessments in the shortest time possible, reducing the potential for delays in
the marketing of your property. We aim to provide completed EPC Reports to you within a maximum of 48 hours from
the survey, but 99% of the time this will actually be 24 hours.
Discounts can be agreed for property portfolios regardless
of size. In the case of landlords with large portfolios, by ordering sooner rather than later you will have more time
to get EPCs for all your properties.
